Sigma Theta Tau, Zeta Omega Chapter Research Award Zeta Omega Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International invites interested applicants to submit proposals for funding. Both qualitative and quantitative proposals will be considered. All Zeta Omega Chapter members are invited to participate. Master’s and doctoral students completing theses, projects, or dissertations are especially encouraged to apply for support. The Chapter will make two awards of $2000 each. Aspiring and seasoned nurse researchers are encouraged to request an application. The Chapter wishes to assist in development of scholarship among colleagues.
Veronica O'Day Leadership Award The Veronica O’Day Leadership Award is a cash Award given to an undergraduate student who may become an invited member of the Zeta Omega-at-Large Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International. The prospective member must be a student in one of the four participating schools, College of New Rochelle, Dominican College of Blauvelt, Mercy College, or Pace University Lienhard School of Nursing. The recipient will become an active member of the Chapter. The student may be self-nominated, or nominated by a faculty person. The student nominee, in collaboration with the nominator, must submit the following information collated and in one package.
J. Mae Pepper Award for Excellence The J. Mae Pepper Awardis given to a Zeta Omega Chapter memberwho has participated in chapter activities and/or operations over several years, and/or made significant contributions to the advancement of nursing scholarship.
